Design Concept
I based this design on my research into the organization that revealed PHP’s core values and valued products. PHP has the empowering role of providing homeless folx with shelter, food, and resources to further their independence in the harsh environment of Portland, OR.
I felt the messages of empowerment, togetherness, and sustainability to be most important to communicate.
Client Testimony:
when I was contacted to design for PHP, I was given little direction for the design other than their praise and trust for my style and skills. I did my research and sent back my initial sketch, to which PHP executives responded :
“this is sooooo cute … I can’t wait to get it printed”.
I pride myself in designs that capture the spirit and messages of the client, and this served as validation for my intuitive, research-based design strategy.
